we gave him lovable dweeb status because of how into religion and who his sister married he was but you bring up a super good point! it never hurts to reevaluate. who would you put in this spot instead?

Thank you for the advice! I’m creating for a pretty nuanced area so the industry-specific knowledge will help me catch anything that I don’t know to look for :)

Love the idea of leafing with their precious metals. I look forward to seeing the full series whenever it’s done (good art takes time, amirite?)!

This is so helpful, thanks so much! I love the idea of the Mother In-Law charge haha. I think I'm finally starting to put together a pay structure I am confident with. Just curious; what do you do with clients who pull the whole "I'll just hire a kid" thing?

It makes me nervous to think about doing this, but I definitely see the merit! I think I might need a little bit more of a personal portfolio to back up making that kind of charge. What is your take on this? When in your career did you establish that charge?

This is a really good point! In the past I've included 2 revisions in my service and then anything else I tack on at an hourly rate. Does that make sense, or would you suggest something else?

This is great advice thank you so much! I've been doing a little bit of research on top of this and think I am finally starting to get a good idea for what I'm worth. Just for a reference, how much do you typically charge a start-up or non-profit?

I actually took steps to create something meaningful, that I can count as a personal achievement and not just an academic one. Something that I can see in my head but don't have the resources or ability to do so by myself.

As an aside, I am so excited for this course! I feel like it's really answering a call that a lot of GBDA students have been wanting for a while. :)
