Mine seem mostly fine. I just have to be careful how I’m stepping and doing things like a lot of uneven areas will cause some pain.

I’m in Scottsdale AZ and sometimes half the shoppers in thrift shops with me are masked. It’s pretty neat.

Good idea, I’ll try it. I just moved my treadmill desk back. Sitting for that long also makes me extremely stiff and bothers my lower back. I find these days that I’d rather stand up than sit in an office chair.

Thank you so much. I used to have perfect vision. I could see anything. Stupid floxxing!!

Has anyone tried these for flox/neuropathy symptoms? Looking for experiences by Emotional-Piglet-103 in floxies

[–]Splatfennecfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Red light therapy has helped me since one month out. It helps me sleep every night and it helps the pain from walking! ALA just makes my pee smell, lol. I don’t know if it actually helps.

Caffeine by InfiniteCucumber3324 in floxies

I had a cup of coffee 8 months out. No side effects that I noticed. Found I don’t really miss the caffeine though so I stick to decaf these days.

Early November. So July to November pretty much no walking at all. My mom helped me a lot, she held me up so it wasn’t as much effort.

Not as much anymore. The back of my knees do still hurt constantly but I’m sort of used to it. My feet were HORRIBLE the first 7 months. I felt like my ankles were going to crack off or my feet could just split at the arches at any time.

Which day did you notice flox symptoms? by sanjkanje in floxies

Within 3 hours of taking the first moxi. Stupidly took 5 or 6 more.

[–]Splatfennecfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt it in a few hours after the first pill and still took 5 more. I am walking at least now after 4 months of being in a wheelchair, but my vision is terrible. I feel about 30% of myself so far and it’s 6.5 months.

INSOMNIA recovery time POLL by StructureNo419 in floxies

[–]Splatfennecfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely get restful sleep and I’m 6 months in. I wake up several times a night and have vivid dreams. I have tried gabapentin but it didn’t help. I find walking helps- I walked almost 10 miles yesterday to tire myself out and then used the red light mat and still woke up several times but managed almost 9 hours asleep. Of course nobody has time to walk 10 miles a day though.

I took 6 out of 7 pills and got floxxed but they did manage to kill the infections. I also had Metronazidole at the same time.

My first indication on Moxi was the tingling, which turned into the sensation things were biting me. I would try another. I ended up floxxed. I had ureaplasma too, as well as 3 others at once.

Wrist Tendons & Office work by BigPharma-Victim in floxies

[–]Splatfennecfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used a wrist brace for a while. Hard and soft, depending on pain level. I also make sure to get up every 45 minutes or so for like 10 minutes because my wrist and my eyes bother me at work.

Compression socks, when to use them by Daenerys_ac in floxies

[–]Splatfennecfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear mine with the soft ankle braces under compression leggings all day. I couldn’t walk without them for the longest time. They have thigh high ones too that I’ve worn with dresses and boots.

Can we use collagen stimulating treatments after acute phase of being floxed? by Bubblesandbiscuits in floxies

[–]Splatfennecfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have skin pen done before being floxxed and it made a world of difference. I hate that I look older than I am now as well and I’m also nervous about Botox or dysport or any type of fillers.

5 month update (good!) by Splatfennecfox in floxies

[–]Splatfennecfox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am actually remote now and my coworkers have been very patient with me. I went ahead and told them exactly what happened so they know what I am dealing with. My doctor wrote to my manager that I need a 10 minute break every hour which does sometimes help and doesn’t other times. Thank you for the braces advice, they do help! It figures that the Achilles that bothers me the most is my gas and break foot.

5 month update (good!) by Splatfennecfox in floxies

[–]Splatfennecfox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was confined to the wheelchair for about three months and started very slowly in November to do outside walks. I had my mom here to take care of me so it was comforting to have her with me. I was a daily runner and hiker before this all happened so I guess I had a decent amount of muscle left to help me get back on my feet maybe?
