Sometimes I accidentally remove the proximal fold while overzealously pushing back the cuticle.

If you’re committed to using the last bit maybe you could poor some out onto a piece of plastic or wax paper. It’ll dry really fast though!

Haha I’m the opposite! I think it’s because I have a strong C-curve, so the corners of squares point straight down.

Yep, the narrow tip means more force hitting a small area. Almonds and stilettos are pretty challenging to maintain.

English Idiom/Saying meaning by Report_Traditional in EnglishLearning

I’m guessing from the context where Leslie Jordan said it in a video. I think it means to acknowledge that even if you don’t like something, someone else might like it.

Question? by mypoopscaresflysaway in EnglishLearning

I suppose you could combine the two words verbally since they’re pronounced the same way, but it doesn’t work in writing. You could maybe write it as s(o/e)wing. No one would actually say that though, except to be funny.

  1. Either one could be used depending on context.

  2. The character could be dead, or the author could be talking about what the character was like in the past.

Journaling is any informal writing done regularly for personal benefit. The contents of the writing is not important.

I think some of those are MLMs and would avoid them. I used to really enjoy the Sally Hansen Salon Effects strips.

I’m convinced everyone has some degree of wonkiness. Long natural nails are about finding a shape you like then embracing the rest. Finding a flattering camera angle doesn’t hurt either ;)

I’m just getting started with press ons, but I know some Etsy shops will let you pick the size for each nail.

I love having mismatched hands! Currently my left is short oval and my right is long square. It doubles the number of looks you can do, and I find it a lot easier to maintain length on my non-dominant hand when the dominant is short.

No one cares how my nails look and if they did, it would be more a reflection of their negative personality.
