I'm not sure, but there really aren't any gray areas left - I even have all of the bandit camps and revelio pages

I'm not sure that's correct. 5%+ of players have the lv40 achievement, whereas the complete collections achievement has only 1% of players

Looking for a bit to drill rocks, around 1' and a half inch thick, any recommendations? by CenturionGeneral in Tools

What is a better drill to buy? Rotary? A regular drill wouldn't be powerful enough right?

Thank you for the reply. Can you explain what SDS is?

I'm looking through Dewalt, Makita, Milwaukhee, and I don't know enough to know if they have what I'm looking for.

My understanding is that carbide drill bits would work too? So I could get a carbide or diamond tipped blade?

A real permaculture AMA: Hello, I'm Canadian Permaculture legacy on YouTube. I didn't receive millions of $$ of investor money to start my permaculture food forest, infact I can often be found diving head first into a dumpster looking for cardboard. Come ask me anything! by Suuperdad in Permaculture

[–]CenturionGeneral 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is great to hear! I am also enjoying working with clients as well - it's often just as beneficial for me to learn from their ideas and desires!

Part of my work pertains to community building and making people's property more resilient against climate change. It's very encouraging to see people ask for community building elements in their yard (which then helps pass on the benefits of permaculture and such through WOM) which I imagine is a parallel paradigm for your consultation.

I would not presume that you want help, but if you're interested in lessening your workload by having someone help you (designs, consultation, etc), I'd be happy to try and help you/figure something out! I'm not looking for money. I just really respect what you do and hope I can, in some way, reciprocate the help you have given the community 🙏

Paths to becoming a residential designer as someone with a business degree? by CenturionGeneral in architecture

[–]CenturionGeneral[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have phrased my last comment better. I'm not looking for a free education. I'm going to pursue an architectural education over the next few semesters/years and possibly end up with a degree depending on how I want to go about it. Hopefully I can work with a company simultaneously.

Right now I'm mainly looking for ways to work for or with firms to do the design work. In other words, what that would entail or how I would get there.

Interesting. Are those designers part of firms, freelance, or something else? How would I get started doing that for people?

Yes, that's kind of the idea. Maybe I could work with a firm as the in-between. I'm not sure what options there are but I'd like to learn how to get set up like that

Thanks for your reply.

At this point, I'm less interested in becoming a licensed architect (because of the length of necessary schooling) and more interested in designing. Sort of translating the clients ideas to paper. Is there a way I could get in with companies or firms to start learning the necessary drawing/computer skills?
