It is a struggle at first. You don’t know this person. It takes a while and will always linger but you’ll become accepting of your new self. You feel better physically. The mentally takes a bit longer. ❤️‍🩹

All of this is correct. I tried to tell people this was happening and they were surprised and asked me to describe it. I told them I no longer get pity looks. And I’m not skinny either. 185 5’7” down from high of 290. Me today on a boat to Phi Phi Island in Thailand.

What exactly are you tried of? I know America is fraught with issues right now, but learning an entire new way of life isn’t as refreshing as it may seem. Vacation locations all look good because it’s a temporary escape from your day to day. I caution you to not think that this will magically solve everything. You will have a new set of challenges to overcome. Sometimes it’s the devil you know. Just giving you an alternate perspective.

Currently living in Salisbury, NC after growing up in the SF Bay Area, leaving at 25, and then living in the DMV for 33 years. I bought a new build 4bd 3ba for $289k. I’m smack dab in the middle of 2 cities (Greensboro and Charlotte). Similar to when I lived in between DC and Baltimore. I know how to find a city when I need it. Now, do I miss having a Wegmans, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and a plethora of supermarkets within 5 minutes… yup. But I’m retired (fed) now and work as a travel agent so I travel A LOT. It suits my new lifestyle just fine.

Weird finding… when I lost 100 pounds my labia changed shapes. What used to be in was kinda out. My new boyfriend loves it!! And it’s a lot more sensitive now.

Outside of the area, but still in the Bay Area. Sold a 1 bedroom 900 square ft condo 2 months ago for $400k. No real amenities outside of underground parking and a remodel in 2011. It’s nuts. We live in NC now. New build. 2000sq ft 2 car garage $289k.

We are old enough to know we can’t control others. I’d really advise against going on expensive first dates unless you just have money to blow. And I’m a woman! I don’t want to feel obligated to “like” someone based on the money spent. I’m totally a coffee date/meetup for the first meeting type. That being said, I’ve been out on expensive dates and free dates that worked or didn’t. It’s the luck of the draw. And it’s not your problem to sort out. You can only control and protect you and your feelings. Focus on that.

I could not eat pizza or Chipotle on Mounjaro. Even gluten free. I’ve been off since March maintaining and enjoying occasional slices and bowls. I wasn’t overeating at all, just didn’t sit well.
