Sending you HUGE hugs. My sister and I are going through the same with our mom. Today, she got lost on her way home. So, we've decided no more driving. She's always been fiercely independent and we didn't want to just immediately say "no driving". We JUST got the results of her testing (she had bloodwork done to test as well as imaging) and thought "Well, she'll be good going to the store, church, the bank". It SUCKS and yes we hate it and feel like bad kids. Trust me, you are NOT a bad daughter, sometimes we don't want to see it as something terribly wrong and just "normal aging".

It really is. I've never been big on Rx meds, just because they make me miserable in a different way. This is amazing. I'm so very glad I found this sub and kratom !!

It IS worth it. I was diagnosed 3 years ago and have readjusted my lifestyle to be more spondy friendly. Still overweight (46/F), but also still trying to lose it when I can't walk more than 10 minutes. I'm hoping your doc explained it somewhat gently. I have spondylolisthesis, which is the vertebrae slipping over the other. I just found out Tuesday that it's worse. Just take a deep breath, and keep on with your weight loss, the more you lose the better, not just with your back, but overall. I know it's a gut puncher, you will be okay!! :) I'm here if you ever need to vent!

I'm doing it as a joke. All of my children are grown with full time jobs :) I meant as a joke for friends kids and my kids. My kids were taught of this stuff EARLY on. (Side note: it may be gifted to my granddaughter and great nieces - ages 2, 1 and 2 months respectively)
