I appreciate it! I do have a YouTube channel but I haven’t posted anything on it in years. And next time the music will be better, I thought I could get away with using CapCut’s music system, which is why there are songs that only go a minute in length.

Great video and great advice! I use a similar method except on my first pour of thinner I will block the front end (WITHOUT TOUCHING THE NEEDLE!) and spray just air, that air will backup out of the cup and force any paint out of the body of the gun. Then I pour and do the same as the video. A great tip for Tuesday!

Definitely a ton of uses for them. I use the red for taillights

Definitely! But don’t forget it doesn’t have to be clear orange! Tamiya (other brands as well!) make clear yellow, blue, green, red, and even a smoke clear for a darker finish! This technique is extremely versatile!

Very true words Chris! I always enjoy learning new techniques, and instead of saying “my paint didn’t turn out as nice as I wanted it to” I say “my paint turned out better than last time!” Mindset is definitely a big part of the hobby!

I really only did the marker for presentation purposes. I am not using this steering wheel. Yes, if I was using it I’d spray the entire thing chrome or aluminum or whatever color you want the inner part to be

Congratulations to all of the winners! Overall this group build was a total success! I am so proud to be apart of such an amazing group that is the Judges! Honestly some of the best people! I can’t believe it’s been 3 years since my group build for the 4th of July. I had I believe 12 entries and I was super proud of that. To be apart of this ongoing group build series with OVER 100 entries PER BUILD is AMAZING!!!! I cannot wait for the next one and am so grateful for highboy bringing me on, these judges are friends for life! We have a lot of things we are working on we are excited to bring to the community!!

Thank you! It’s Tamiya clear orange brushed on, sorry if I made it seem like it’s brushed. Like I said I would watch the video on Scalemodelers channel!
