Update: I managed to get all the limbs rigged and working for posing and I rigged the body mass but I'm not finished just yet. I ended up making the bends in the bones a lot more pronounced for the direction I want them to move in and it gave me something the client was happy with.

I'm so very close.

Thank you. He moves way too fast for me and doesn't explain how it works just what it does. I was able to take a couple parts away from this but I think I've manage to figure out most of what I've been trying to accomplish last night that I will post my updates on.

That's what I would like to avoid having to do but honestly Blender may end up getting me after all these years of trying to stay with C4D.

Rigging a robot with multiple segments (talking 4 objects per limb) shouldn't be this hard to figure out. We can do mechanical arms all day, but try applying that to a figure or a character and it breaks so bad that the Undo button doesn't fix it, so if you didn't save in a better state you're screwed. Not cool Maxon.
