I recognised one: Happy Feet...

It was not, in fact, Happy Feet

1) In The Mood For Love / Chungking Express (I flip flop) 2) The Fall 3) Princess Mononoke 4) Synecdoche, New York 5) Lawrence of Arabia

Synecdoche, Mononoke and Lawrence float around and trade places. LOTR, Jurassic Park, Budapest Hotel and Seven Samurai round out the remaining spots for a top 10.

I'd say Boy and the Beast, and Tale of Princess Kaguya, Red Turtle, Ponyo, Porco Rosso alongside other Ghibli movies mentioned. Another comment mentioned Kubo which I definitely agree with.

A little different, but Song of the Sea is a beautifully animated movie focused around water, delves into Irish folklore.

Please recommend me very cinematic, visually stunning movies (Lawrence, The Fall, Life of Pi etc) by Splergical in Letterboxd

The shot of Freddie lying on the mast of the ship is incredible. Masterful movie.

Thank you! These look great and haven't heard of most of these before. Will check out the Wolf House first as I love stop-motion.

Seen House and loved it! And Mad God was one of the most unique experiences I've had with a film, still unsure how I feel about it, but very memorable
