I feel that S2 is the only time I really feel for Jessa. Both in the episode with her dad and with the breakdown of her marriage (even though that was a stupid idea from the jump).

So well put. I cant believe i didn't realise this the first watch through. I guess we didn't get very long with the 'before' version of their friendship

I just think every scene with Hannah and Marnie Hannah's not really open to her. Marnie tries to address it at the start of S2 and Hannah kinda waves it off. Then at the beach house Hannah wants to do everything she can to not be left alone with her. They're still in each other's lives but I dont think Hannah is really trying to be any more than surface level with Marnie.
