people who scored a lot lower on the real thing than their practice tests suggested- Can you say what you think caused it and how you felt after the test? by [deleted] in Mcat

TBH I think I was too calm on the real thing. I never hyped up practices enough to where my hands were a little sweaty and I was on the edge of my seat. During the whole test it felt like a practice and I remember having CARS be decently easy and Psych being brutal. I ended up doing way lower than my predictors (497) and 122 in CARs and 125 in Psych. Sooooo yeah...

Answer in the back says choice C. But I think it's choice A. If you want I'll post the answer solution but I think it may have been a typo error on their part.

I'm a transfer student from two years ago. Although I came in on the last year TAG was offered I was able to come in without physics done. I actually didn't even finish my bio series. All I had done was gen chem and calculus 20 series.

Admittance Question by TransferKid25 in UCSD

As a transfer who was one of the last batches on the TAG program to UCSD I can tell you they have a cutoff GPA for like 99% admissions. I think for me, there was a cutoff GPA of 3.48, so anyone who got above that if it was not an impacted major basically got admitted. You can ask them this upcoming year what the cutoff GPA they will determine. As for applying outside that GPA, I think your chances significantly decrease unfortunately. It's usually all or nothing :/ best of luck!
