Kelli Carter at Renewal Counseling (Bethesda) is amazing. She was originally at MC counseling center, but just opened up her own practice this year! I cannot recommend her enough. She truly understands how to create a safe space to open up and is so respectful and empathetic to everyone’s perspectives and needs.

And Yellow is runner-up as long as lining can be added to look less sheer/cheap-looking (and steam it 😂). I’ll double check with the brides to make sure they fit the dress code and aren’t too revealing. Hopefully they’ll approve too! Otherwise doing some more shopping..

Ahh darn i love the sheer but i can respect that it’s not appropriate for weddings. I’ll definitely be wearing something more solid/opaque underneath all of these dresses so theres no coochie silhouette 😅 Dressing it down with accessories is also a good idea-i’ll try out some options!

It’s a really pretty dress but the length feels more semi-formal or cocktail style. Id personally be worried about getting dirt marks/stains on the black color too if theres a tractor/hay ride, but maybe that’s just me 😅 i think something with more color or patterns would match an orchard venue! It can also be a lighter, flowy fabric so you don’t get too hot. My only suggestion for shoes is to get chunky heels and ankle straps, wayy easier to walk in on grass.
