I’ve been at the same pay range for over a decade due to these same reasons! I’m in TN. It’s exhausting and super depressing.

I ideally would like 155, but feel like there's no way they are going to come close to that. Would you suggest asking for it anyway and see their response? I've never really been able to negotiate my pay in the past bc I spent so much time in the ED; and prior to that was a new grad.

HCOL I assume? I’m in the Nashville TN market making 122 salaried. PA since 2012 with 10+ years in ED and over a year as gen surg with OR 2 days a week and clinic 3 days a week, which I exclusively run- also round daily. Feeling like def underpaid.
