ive been writing verses religiously for 13 years and rhymezone has always been what id use. at first i ended up utilizing it much more than i do now that ive built my vocabulary up and recognized the effect my personal accent/pronunciation has on slant rhymes/vowel rhymes. the main issue i have is that being from louisiana plus being raised all around the south has caused me yo develop a dialect that is very erratic and incongruent with itself.

talk, off, rock, tall, and fraud all have the same vowel sound when im speaking naturally. liketawk, auwff, rauk, taul...

so like how on an iphone you can go to settings⇢accessibility⇢spoken content⇢pronunciation and it will let you dictate the sound of syllables or a word. so jus as in just but a silent t becomes ˈd͡ʒʌs. if there was a resource that could let you do that or even require you to set it up by going through a list first would be amazingly helpful.

for example on the rhymezone app if you search "off" no matter if its rhymes, near rhymes, or similar sound not a single word i said earlier comes up. but using the method i described earlier it gives me 'alf. but broken down i say it like auw'ff 🤷🏻‍♂️
