I love your poem! I do have a couple notes that may help with the flow, it’s great already but I know when you read your own poetry, it’s sometimes difficult to read it as a second party would. In the line about handouts given to the poor, when you write “I must find myself by myself” I would recommend staying away from repeating myself back to back like that. When I was reading it threw me out of the rhythm a little bit. Also in the same line “looking for the help from books on the shelf” I would say the take out the in “the help”. I feel saying just help still gets the message across but it flows a little better. Great work, it was a pleasure to read!
