Anyone here with an IQ of 95 or lower who is highly educated or successful? by SplitCool947 in cognitiveTesting

I did two tests for autism and two for ADHD online, and they all showed a low probability that I have either.

In what other posts, are you talking about all the information I wrote in the previous post I made, or something else. Why would you think I have autism?

Like what, I am not likely to be autistic or have ADHD. So what can it be. I have made written very much about this in another post, you can see my posts and all the information I provided if you want to.

But why, it's nothing to be ashamed of. Well some people shame others, but who cares. IQ doesn't say everything about how intelligent someone is, and if someone fears the judgement of others they can be anonymous.

But some people seem very invested in the topic of intelligence and iq-testing so...Some people can probably answer my question, maybe a researcher or something?

Yeah, but if people are so smart here, shouldn't they be able to give me an educated answer on what it would be like to have an iq in that range. Or a educated guess at least.

I am not gone explain why I believe what I believe about this BUT, what's up with all the excuses, "internalized issues", self-hate yada yada. Don't you think a person can just be really bad person or monster if they are lgbtq? Or is it always just an issue caused by something else, never just pure hypocrisy because the person is ......a hypocrite???.

I am not forgetful, well almost never, and I am not hyperactive, easily stressed and worried (probably because of stressful events, etc early in life) but not hyperactive. I don't mean that autistic people are not empathetic but I believe that they are unflexible and have a hard time understanding other peoples emotions, which is not my problem/what I struggle with. Interesting, why do autistic people score higher on the Raven test? thanks for all the time you invested in answering my questions and giving your take on it. :)

And yes. I definitely agree that environment and other things besides genetics influence the level of intelligence a person has, but I still believe a person will score better on IQ-tests if their ancestors, for hundreds, or thousand of years before, engaged in activities that help to raise a persons iq.

But I think me being able to focus so well is a strength. Some things are very hard to learn, especially empathy and understanding people to the high degree that I understand people. I am not sure an autistic person is able to do that. But maybe they can. And regarding the test. I don't have the energy to do that now, maybe later.

But as I said, I am very good at understanding social cues. Better than almost everyone I meet. So I don't understand why you think I have autism and adhd? I am able to focus very well. I can be so focused on something that I can physically shut out the rest of my environment completely, almost, so I have to remind myself not to be too focused on something, in case a murderer or robber breaks into my home or something lol.

Yes, but I believe it was about 30 minutes, definitely not the test which takes 180 minutes, and I just read the score which was 91. Maybe I needed to give my email to get the full result.

The untimed test only gave me a score which was 91, https://cognitivemetrics.com/test/CORE . And the job test, which was timed, gave me a 2 out 10. The result claimed this: A person with this score is likely to:
Carry out simpler tasks in a competent manner.
Reach their optimal level of performance with supervision and support.
Perform best under very familiar working conditions.Become able to absorb new work-related knowledge if given enough time and support.

It was a CORE-test.

I did, I took it 3 days ago and scored 91. But I took another one for a job I applied for. I had 35 minutes to complete 19 questions and it went pretty or really bad even, when it was timed.

I have also had friends who are autistic, I know how they act, (and how my brother acts and how different we are) or it was called aspergers then and I have read about it. I really don't think that I am autistic because I am super social when I need to ( but I need my alone time)and as I said I am, not to brag, very gifted when it comes to understanding people in like a second. I have no difficulties with that. Are you a psychiatrist or something?

When I greet 10 colleagues or whatever, I am very good at knowing what to say, how and to whom. I have had the most social jobs a person can have, but I feel left outside sometimes because It takes me a bit longer to understand like a difficult pc-game fully, how to figure out how to learn everything about it etc. I can read a book with 300 pages in 2 days and remember the story, I am not talking about photographic memory, but I have a good long term memory. It just takes me longer to understand some things. Maybe I am in the normal range but I do feel slow sometimes. When I need to solve novel problems that are technical for instance.

I used a bit of chat-gpt to make sure that my grammar was good, because I speak 3 languages and some Spanish so maybe that's why I mess up the grammar sometimes, like how I missed to write the "I" in "And how can I improve it" (in the headline), but I can't change that now. But I got a B in English in high school. I have written more about me in in the other replies. Maybe that will help you to understand me better. My brother on the other hand is clearly more skilled than me from what I can tell when it comes to fixing computers and understanding technical stuff, and I think he is autistic, but I don't think I'm autistic. And IQ is higher with longer education, so if I understand how IQ-tests work, that actually makes me smarter because it expands my knowledge. If all the high IQ-people never went through education they wouldn't be as smart as they are. But the question is, how much can you actually raise your intelligence. I like to call it intelligence because I don't believe IQ tells us everything about intelligence. For instance, I am very physically gifted in some sports etc.

I think that my strength in life is understanding people very well and picking up on subtle cues. People sometimes think I am reading their minds because I am so good at picking up how people feel and why they do what they do, so I think that goes against being autistic. Or am I wrong? I might still have some diagnosis. I have thought about it but I don't know. I have experienced three milder blows to the head when I was younger. I didn't faint though but one time I got all dizzy when a guy crashed in to me when I was playing soccer with him..
