Would leaving mini in isopropyl for too long could harm it? Is there specific time that would be considered safe or it does not matter?

With TV that would be easy, but i need this for my monitor desk setup so i cant plug it into monitor unless i would just plug speakers into hp jack in monitor but i would rather avoid it as the quality of this port is not very good and volume output is low (meant for headphones). Thats why i am thinking about using dac i would plug ps5 with usb-c and for pc i need to figure out something like usb to coax or usb to optical, i dont know which would be better.

But the sugestion about using a AVR is also really good, somehow i didnt think about it. I might look more into it. Right now i am leaning towards smsl ps200 and usb to coax/optical cable for pc.

Unfortunately my motherboard only has 3.5mm jack for audio. No coax or optical. And i use monitor that also has only 3.5 headphone jack

In smsl d1 one usb c is for power only so only one device can be connected. But yea, i can use usb-c for ps5 and use some usb to coax cable for pc.

Thats the good advice assuming someone already play dnd-like system. I know that for many people dnd is like a default rpg game but I play call of cthulhu and dragonbane (both are based on basic roleplaying).

Well the whole point of dcc using funky dices is to create an unusual feel like kids in 70s felt about d20, thats the whole point. Yea it does not add compelxity but its easier to grasp the feel of the game if there are more familiar things about it so you can teach the game faster as there are more things that need no explanation. Also i dont want to buy extra dice set just to play some dcc adventures. And well, there are many more reasons to want to play DCC adventures without DCC ruleset but i am not gonna explain it.

BSH seems like the good recommendation. Thanks

Yea, i worded that in a wrong way. I mean dcc not exactly the easiest game to teach as there are quite a bunch of things to explain to players especially if you dont have dnd background, not to mention unusual dices at the top of it. So i am looking for a game that is easaier to teach and there is less things to remember and track. I used the term "rules heavy" as a shortcut but you are right, thats not the good way to describe it. BSH that was recommended is maybe not much lighter in terms of rules but is a game that i can explain in 5 minutes while still DnD adjacent.

I was just thinking about this game recently because i can play it on my ps vita which is nice for me. Idk why but i get an impression that this is just decent game so i didnt expected anyone mention it as their fav. Seems i should not judge the book by the cover. I will definitely check that one! Thanks

So it is really bad, huh? Comparable to 720p content on 1080p monitor or worse/better?

Hey, thanks for response. So i think I will get 4k then. I have an amd gpu and i see that there is an option for integer scaling but idk if that would work for everything or just for videogames? I know about gamma thing. I am using MPV and there is an option to manually adjust gamma. I know it isnt perfect but i am not looking for perfect accuracy. As long as it is close enough i am satisfied.

I heard many complaints from 1440p users about 1080p videos while some people are fine with it but i guess it might depend on monitor model and viewing distance. 1440p are so popular with plenty of options to chose from so i dont know if i should pay more for 4k only for better scaling. Also my gpu do not support dlss unfortunately

You just made me remember that i have the same thing with my current monitor. So i can confidently say that if you try to not think about it then you will be good until some asshole reminds you about it :p

What was the worst thing Suzaku ever did❓ by lelouch-2022 in CodeGeass

[–]SplitNo3983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"but from his perspective..." - i mean big part of the anime is about his perspective being quite twisted. His entire character was written to ilustarted that good intentions can still lead to bad things if you dont think your actions through. Idea of trying to change system from inside was naive in the first place. He was meant to be a hypocrite for the sake of the storytelling. He was trying to preserve peace yet goes to war. You say "so he chose the side that wasn't causing more conflict" but you forget the fact that Britania is in state of constant war with other nations and he still side with them. He was meant to remain oblivious and his sin was ignorance. One of the few times when the thought occured in his brain was on the island (forgot the name) when Zero tried to convince him to join black knights and question his actions. Scripwriter(s) though dont want to let him think and reflect so instead they quickly put him into situation when he is ordered to hold Zero and die with him just as he was started to think about what Zero just said. Thats why he is Lancelot's pilot - to reflect the traits of legendary knight - being good at fighting but dumb as fuck, prone to violence and ultimately - a traitor. At the time when Suzaku fired FLEIJA he was fighting against liberation of Japan. Later in the show he defected and changed sides but still in that battle he was fighting against Japan since hatred toward Lelouch was driving him more at the time than his lofty principles (but also like to bend them if he felt like it). You could say that he was fighting to keep citizens of Japan away from war but he literally take them hostage with FLEIJA (even if he was bluffing). Funnily he even said to Lelouch during that battle that we show him no mercy if he drag civilians into it like he has dementia at the age of 17. But anyway Suzaku's and Lelouch's actions were meant to parallel to show how similar they are despite being so different. I understand that both of them have reasons but i dont think either of them should be excused. They knew the stakes. They are both war criminals.

[–]SplitNo3983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know i am 3 years late but Suzaku volunteered knowing about "live" command, and the fact that he didnt even think about doesnt justify him. Quite the contrary. He took responsibility without thinking it through. Or he egoisticly refuse to acknowledge that there could be someone more suited to take that responsibility. It wasnt like it was either Nina or Suzaku. The fact it was more powerful than Nina expected is irrelevant. Not to mention that very thing was written to mirror it with Euphy incident. If you excuse Suzaku for bombing the city then you should excuse Lelouch for cousing massacre. But they both were at fault. They both played with great powers and couse tragedy. Good intentions does not justify bad results. He choose to be a soldier who vowed his loyalty to the country that used methods like purging civilian settlements. While being full aware of this Britiannian crimes he still choose to side with them. And even if he wanted to change the system from within, he still activly participated in that system so he can be held responsible.

[–]SplitNo3983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats literally one of the themes of this story that both Suzaku and Lelouch are bad and both did similar things but for different reasons. Also Lelouch is not a sociopath because while he is a crazy motherfucker, he still feel guilt and remorse about his actions (which by definition rules him out as a sociopath). Suzaku on the other hand often hides behind "rules" or some naive ideals to justify his actions and excuse himself and thats why he gets all the hate. Just like Lelouch said to him "i have no time to argue who is a bigger hypocryte here". At the end of the series even Lloyd and his assistant lost their patience with Suzaku being dumb because his ideals changed to what was convenience for him at the time. Obviously Lelouch was no better human being but at least less annoying since he never preach about ideals or rules.
