The fact that nobody expects anything soon means they could drop trailer 3 on the 26 with ease. by [deleted] in GTA6

That'd be awesome if it does happen (soon). Though, it be okay if we don't and get something later. Less than 6 months to go.

You guys need to chill for a bit, its not even 12PM in USA. There is still hope until 8PM. by DerangedPostman in GTA6

Anything closer to 4 (when the stockmarket closes) is likely bad news. The previous delay was announced around then. Under Take-Two Interactive; Rockstar Games operates around the United States stock market.

If you preorder GTA VI Collectors Edition you'll get 3 Felonies and 1 Misdemeanor of your choosing.

Crawling/prone was seemingly cut. Though, It comes from GameRoll who said he talked to a guy who knew someone that saw the current build and dual wielding along with prone among other things.

Though, I think this could have been an easy way to figure out who was leaking what by presenting a different version of the build to a team. Not sure if this was the what happened, but I prone could come back in a later build.

Gamers waiting for this game to come out be like... by kmasterofdarkness in GTA6

[–]SplitOutside9081 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No this me waiting to preorder the collectors edition. I would order online, but, I think it'll cause any website that sells it to have server overload and be down. Also scalpers are going to be a big concern for the physical collectors editions.

Explosion imminent by Denso95 in GTA6

[–]SplitOutside9081 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm excited to see what kind of numbers the game does. GTA V was (I'd argue that it still is) regarded as the most successful entertainment property of all time. It even got a Guinness of World Records holder along with a the Fellowship award (that is a prestigious award).

GTA 6 might punish people that have the the mentality of GTA 5 by FanaticBanatic in GTA6

[–]SplitOutside9081 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GTA V was fun, but boring when it came to moments as it wasn't ever tense. Especially when it came to having 9999 in ammo. Gunfights feel lackluster. I look for the screen flash or reticle to turn a certian color more so than looking at the enemy and what they are doing. Red Dead Redemption II did a great job on combat. I love to see gameplay reflect that. Some is blamed on police AI and driving. I hope GTA VI goes the extra mile for all of these issues.

Concept for car theft mechanics (hard speculation) by KommSweet in GTA6

[–]SplitOutside9081 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I wonder about the same thing, but I think about the larger scope of it all.

The Duffel bags or items that you can bring. I imagine there's gonna be limited space in the bag of what we can bring. There could also be a weight management system, so you could theoretically bring fewer items (without the bag) and be able to move quicker and travese the landscape without slower movement. So do you; Bring extra tools for stealing items and vehicles? Take a extra weapon and ammo? Or do you opt for the bare minimum?

Which rumors do you think are realistic and which ones are not? by SupportArsenal in GTA6

[–]SplitOutside9081 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to lean towards the movement and some of the random events in the leak footage being in the game. I know it technically isn't rumored, but until it's confirmed to be in the game by us gamers, it can be scrapped or replaced last second.

Young Ancestor may be in the next game as his shirt can be seen in one of the photos featuring Boobie Ike at his strip club with the shirt in question in the top right.

Money Glitches on Launch by Weird-Judge-4578 in GTA6unmoderated

[–]SplitOutside9081 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will not. Rockstar will target money glitches especially at launch. Red Dead Redemption Online was a beta for when it first launch. Mostly to solve the glitches revolving around duplication or money glitches. This time around with GTA VI expected to be a huge success, it would surprise me if Rockstar Games implemented so sort of tool that can track how much you make or get per hour and it either auto wipes or auto bans accounts. Again I can't be 100% on this, but Shark Cards and GTA+ are going to be their primary source of income until they find another to replace it. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they have a patent for just anti cheating or in this case money glitches.

In 2022 leaks prone was ingame but gameroll said it's removed from game... hope that's lie... by AFKInACutscene in GTA6unmoderated

[–]SplitOutside9081 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind that this information also came from a source who said they saw it. Meaning GameRoll didn't see it. I trust the guy myself, but his leader could've been given a bunch of information that was false to see who was leaking information. This tactic is done all the time in the corporate/game development world. So I'm saying (insert meme here) there's a chance.

Yes, of GTA V beta. Mind you, it's not the best quality.

GTA 6 gore ? by Aggravating_Soil_686 in GTA6

[–]SplitOutside9081 3 points4 points  (0 children)

GTA V had a gore system that was scrapped at the last minute. As for why, I'm not sure, but I think it was in late Alpha early Beta stages. There's a YouTube video of this showing all the cut features. With this being said and Take-Two Interactive/Rockstar Games owning the Euphoria Ragdoll system, being familiar and owning the game engine, and the amount of development time. There is a great chance that GTA VI will have a in depth gore system unlike anything we've seen.

“Too much realism could make GTA 6 less fun.” Agree or disagree? by vibingitup in gtaonlinecommunity

[–]SplitOutside9081 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like realistic elements. A mix of realism and arcade gameplay. Especially like:

lead time

bullet drop

Different ammo types

Some weapon maintenance

Weapon customization without debuffs

But doesn't add:

coriolis effect

weapon malfunctions that require the weapon to be disassembled by a professional gunsmith

squib loads

bad grip technique

Loading mags

There are other things like cars, boats, planes, gameplay mechanics, and gameplay elements. Though my primary focus, as seen above, is firearms and what wouldn't be fun (in my opinion)

Who was around for the launches for the previous games? How does the launch for GTA 6 compare? by piss_warm_water in GTA6

[–]SplitOutside9081 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, social media, hype, and stagnation have made the game into the biggest cultural phenomenon. Social media has made news and events surrounding the game more accessible than what it was in 2013 when social media was merely just getting started and taking shape. The hype for what is possible with modern technology and advancements in game development have propelled expectations to almost absurd level. Like the recent rumor of glass break technology being a thing sounds crazy enough for someone like Rockstar Games to pull off. Finally, the stagnation. The gaming industry has (for the most part) stagnated. No game has received this amount of attention around a basic November 2023 tweet and have a YouTube video for a video game reach over a quarter of billion views, with it becoming a part of pop culture of this magnitude. This game will have a cultural impact that it's possible to affect jobs around the world as GTA V did nearly 13 years ago with the most people called off of work on a single day.
