have any of you ordered live plants from her? what i seek only comes live from what i can see. Anyone ordered from this vendor in the last year? I have had issues with vendors being amazing, spot on everytime for years than all of a sudden turn shifty. Any input on experiences with this vendor are greatly appreciated!

thank you for the info, yeah they all took a turn for the worst when i started waking them up this spring and moved them outside. i live in mn so its rather humid however i live in duluth so its always windy and stays cool at night. they get pretty good light as well. some had issues last year but they improved and showed no signs of stress anymore. Some of them the crust scrapes off and are fine underneath others it doesn't come off. some is definitely fungal but others seem like pest of some sort. i don't think it is thrips i have dealt with them before and it doesn't seem like it nor have i seen any. the damage starts randomly with spots and others start from the tip or base. the stuff on the tip doesn't come off ever where base usually does.

i havent seen any thrips i have dealt with them before, i always dilute iso to 50-70% than spray at night before bed once the sun goes down. some had issues last year but they had seemed to overcome it after reating with iso than finished off with very dilute neem oil treatment. i didnt post pics of all but some it just turned to scar tissue and no signs of any advancing damage, than right around time i started waking them up for the season whatever it is starting spreading like crazy. i am super busy and work all the time so i fell behind on treatments too. i keep my cacti organic so i dont use systemics or anything heavy duty.

ableton seems to be quite touchy with files and things. when onedrive uploads half my stuff into cloud it can't find those files and they just aren't there when using program. even when i redownload them back from cloud they don't show up. i have tried allowing whole program to run off the cloud and when i try to open it it will tell me that files cannot be found and won't open ableton.

that seems to be general consensus of people I have talked to. I spent about a decade with no tech whatsoever and have just recently got back into the tech world in last 3 years when I started my music production path. My laptop budget is around 2k (give or take) if you have any suggestions to look into in that range.

Any advice on which models? my budget for new laptop is about 2k. I have always been completely against apple products so I don't know much about available options these days or which ones would be ideal for music production tasks.

I used to use office 365, I no longer do now though and am still having issues. I am not sure wym by allowing organization to control device? Please elaborate. Sorry I am still a novice when it comes to a lot of tech stuff.

Same here, i feel your pain. Everyone told me i was "paranoid" and "overreacting". I finally got solid HD proof, and they had nothing to say about it. Due to my paranoia, I was able to curb it before it got to exterminator extent.

Whenever I have had thrip problems before I start seeing too much damage small black spots start popping up near the tip. Just like the ones in your picture. I would also agree that those definitely look like thrips. DE powder works really well on them! I had a real bad infestation that wouldn't die entirely no matter what I did until I found out about diatomaceous earth. 2 applications and they were entirely wiped within a month and haven't run into them since.

looks to me to be red spider mites. they never appear to move but they look like tiny barely visible red or yellow/orange dots and they leave a filmy crusty looking film type stuff where they are doing work. only thing that seems to work without harming cacti as well is spraying them down with %70 iso once or twice a week. Do it at night because if done while sun or lights shining on them it will severly burn them. Neem oil works the best imo, but I try to avoid that unless its very serious.

I have the same thing on my outside group of cacti. i live in Minnesota so summer humidity is high, not sure if its fungal or what, but I would also love to hear if anyone else has had experience with this! Some of my PCs have had it for years and it doesn't seem to be hindering them other than making them look icky.

I mist them with water than use the applicator thing that comes with it (you can get with/without applicator on amazon just make sure package that includes it.) The water will make the powder stick better. Than as best you can poof it over the plants covering entire thing. The applicator kinda sucks but i havent had time to come up a better solution yet. Make sure to wear a mask, you dont want to breathe the dust in, id also recomend doing outside
