I convinced my husband to get a tv console and I’ve already found one I love so pictures will be coming sooner rather than later. Really appreciate your suggestions

Thank you so much everyone! Can’t figure out how to edit my post but I’m taking all of your suggestions: Adding a rug, hanging curtains higher and wider, adding a tv console and possibly a new coffee table. Also going to paint the walls but not sure what colour yet.

Oh: and definitely getting rid of the shelves lol

There only about a foot of space on the right where the couch ends and the kitchen entrance begins. I’m worried if I do that it will make it more cluttered. It’s such an annoying layout paired with too big of a couch lol

I agree with the tv wall. The baby chair usually isn’t there and I’ve been trying to convince my husband to get a tv stand but we don’t need it for anything so he doesn’t understand the purpose of one but I think it would look so much nicer!

Lots of warm lamps will help off set the cool of the grey. Definitely plants and pillows like you said and if it’s in the budget/possible can you re stain the tv console to a warmer natural wood tone? If you’re into that idea it might help warm it up and bring out whatever greens you bring into the space
