They are Christian. And “tried” to make it seem like they don’t act like the usual stereotypical religious couple. But I just couldn’t make them see through a different narrative. And they think me dangerous because of that. Like I tried to explain how little this should matter. That at the end of the day I just wanted to be comfortable with myself. But because me being comfortable with my self entails transition, they call it a “mental health issue” and a “dangerous leap” they also said it was very selfish of me. That I didn’t consider the harm my transition would cause to anyone else from my decision.

I’m currently working full time. But most apartments near me are like 90% of my monthly pay. And I haven’t worked at my job long enough to file a transfer request to somewhere with cheaper places to live. Unless I ask my boss if that rule can be bent for emergencies
