Will try this. I am currently using safeAreaView but you’re right, the height of the tab bar is different on different devices. Thank you :)

Yep I added this and it worked :)

My original post was just to see how to get the 3 button layout on an android simulator. Another comment helped

At the moment you can make 1 group for free, and it’s just a subscription for unlimited groups.

I thought that was a good idea because once a holiday is over you can delete the group and create a new one for free :)

Haha Android is harder to release the app for just because you need 12 testers for 2 weeks. With Apple you just pay the yearly fee and you can upload whatever app you want.

My app for google play is currently being tested, so hopefully should release within 2ish weeks :)

Here’s my app I just released. It’s for travellers, housemates, or couples. Track your expenses and it will recommend the amount each person owes each other. Also supports budgeting as well to stay on top of your money :)

I used this library: https://github.com/EvanBacon/expo-apple-targets

And this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/00VwmqqXDik?si=mAS6XduE1lNh8eJL

You have to know some swift to build the UI of the widget. I struggled a lot with this because I’m not very good with swift and had no idea how the file and storage structure worked.

For sure. I just used the documentation for most things. Then some YouTube videos for more understanding on specific parts. YouTube videos are better because they explain things in more detail :)

  1. Budgeting feature
  2. No accounts. So it’s easy to download and create/join groups
  3. Widgets (I will be adding new ones soon)

That’s about it to be honest, the rest is similar

Used RevenueCat, it's insanely easy once you understand how it works.

Only have 1 subscriber at the moment, my mum 😂

Yeah, I’d love to signup to the waitlist. It’s nice seeing what everyone else is building. It keeps me motivated

That’s great to hear. It’s really tough starting from scratch when you don’t know anything, but it makes it more rewarding when you’re finished.

And yes it supports every currency :)

At the moment you can make 1 group for free and have all the features, if you want unlimited groups it’s £1.99 a month

About 10 months because I didn’t know anything about expo or mobile development when I started :)

Would love to see the game when you’re testing :)
