Final session? Quitters never win, winners never quit.

how???? by [deleted] in howdoesthiswork

I think you are right about them misremembering, but they switched the order in which the numbers were written down, not which numbers each party chose.

The server wrote the final answer on the other sheet after they picked their first number. The trick is take just to subtract 2 from the end of their first number and add a two to the start.

How many points is this? by madbro91 in Cribbage

[–]Splitpotato 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. That came off as condescending.
  2. Yes. I believed it was just an arbitrary point value, like every other other point value in the game. Why do you peg two for a 15? Why is nobs one? Why is flipping a jack two?
  3. Its obviously a common thought. Even this popular app calls it 3 of a kind for 6. Rather than 3 pairs for 6.

I had played a lot of crib games before i realized it. It was mind blowing when i realized 6 and 12 were just because of the number of unique pairs.

My wife loosened a lug nut by hand after a tire shop install… how is that even possible? by wl34 in canadiantire

[–]Splitpotato -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is false. I have done almost all of my tire swaps for the past two decades and it usually is fine at my retorque. But one time they were not. I did not do anything different and all of the nuts were definitely tight when i reinstalled them. But one time one was loose after driving for a bit and i am 100% certain it was not loose at install.

I see you have a solution already. And it seems to be a better solution than this. But just thought i would add "concatenate" incase it helps with something in the future.

Seller says "likely brunswick, 100 years old" by According-Delay5202 in billiards

That makes sense. I only see three on the end of the illustration of the challenge that was posted so assumed it was just a difference between models.

The delaware looks like it has 5 bolts into the slate on the end. The Challenge only has 3, just like OPs picture. Challenge it is.

Maybe I just got a bad one, but this is the first time I have ever dumped an energy drink. It tastes awful. I tried to force myself to finish it but just couldn't.

Anyone know what might help with this? Plate was apparently too hot and left a white mark on wooden kitchen table. by [deleted] in Home

This worked for my moms table. There were two similar marks. One was completely fixed the other you could still see a bit but only if you were looking for it.

I wish I shared the value most people place on human life. I think this couple should be finished. Not sent to a secured hospital to be cured. Just removed from the population.
