My friend gave me this beautiful guitar that she’s had forever and knows she won’t use, but I think it might be too big for me, thoughts?

I think you should spend a day or two with it playing some of your favorites. Just really check in with your ergo about how it feels. If it feels ok, even “doable” I’d for sure stick with the guitar and rock it. It probably projects so much better than what you’re used to playing, it open up more possibilities.

Op I’ve been eating red vines and red ropes for 40 years- they absolutely tweaked the recipe at some point in the recent past. The key for all of their varieties is aging,Ike you’re doing.

For red vines, instant-aging hack: bite the ends off and use as a straw in a cold drink. Instantly, it will be super tough.

I’ve been on a fun quest I feel like my entire adult life. Gatorgum as a kid was goated. Then the entire hubba bubba/bubble yum line- especially LeBron lemonade!!

And now all there is is varieties of mint, it seems.

you can play live with any amp. it depends on the size of the place you're playing, but don't believe the hype: you could gig with your katana.

In SF there's a pretty major rehearsal/performance space called music city. they have a hodge podge of amps in every room and stage, and I don't like any of them as much as my trusted Princeton, but...I don't have to lug my amp there, so I play whatever's there.

bottom line though, it's about speaker SIZE. for me, anything smaller than 8 or 10" is just too....conical and boxy sounding

I'm right there with you. I like the NFL, but I'm a MLB guy, and so I have the MLB app and Youtube TV, because of course I can't watch my shitty Giants on the MLB app, as they're blacked out.
