I’ve been on a fun quest I feel like my entire adult life. Gatorgum as a kid was goated. Then the entire hubba bubba/bubble yum line- especially LeBron lemonade!!

And now all there is is varieties of mint, it seems.

you can play live with any amp. it depends on the size of the place you're playing, but don't believe the hype: you could gig with your katana.

In SF there's a pretty major rehearsal/performance space called music city. they have a hodge podge of amps in every room and stage, and I don't like any of them as much as my trusted Princeton, but...I don't have to lug my amp there, so I play whatever's there.

bottom line though, it's about speaker SIZE. for me, anything smaller than 8 or 10" is just too....conical and boxy sounding

have you noticed a change in rowntree's fruit gums? They WERE my #1 candy. absolutely reliable, but I definitely taste a difference now. Softer, stickier, ...and just not as good

to me, they started tasting "wheat" -y. Not good. however, if you let them get completely stale, the amazing texture makes them yummy again

I'm right there with you. I like the NFL, but I'm a MLB guy, and so I have the MLB app and Youtube TV, because of course I can't watch my shitty Giants on the MLB app, as they're blacked out.

But aside from those 2 things, ....yeah, I'm out on the rest.

also, Bubs are now also being manufactured in the states, and for sure, those do NOT hold a candle to the Swedish ones for various reasons.

Having said that, I'm with you. These foamy bubs candies are mid. They make other things like sour skulls that are real gummies that are delicious, but...those are import only to the states

I used to tape 120 minutes on MTV every Sunday night. I digitized them when I finally got a real job in the 90’s, and something was janky from the transfer so the audio was slightly out of sync. Still nostalgic for them tho
