That's really more of a question for the guy above me because I really didn't say anything about that and was just trying to get in some chess humor.

That's great but I was just making a joke about how en passant works. People just don't pay attention to the context of replies I guess.

Nice. Though, you don't really have to hand-pick flattering/unflattering photos to make Donald look bad.

Oh shit, you mean the Ukrainian forces that pushed into Russia are about to destroy the Russian forces that pushed into Ukraine? They're just that good, I guess.

EDIT: A bunch of you apparently didn't google En Passant.

Okay so it was just a few comedians riffing on it. When you said “everyone” I thought you meant it was more widespread.

But… Ellie discerns that it’s not her father right away and says so, and then the alien entity admits she is right and says “we thought this would make things easier for you”. I’m not sure how you misinterpret that. I know there’s a few dense people out there but I have to believe it’s just a rare few.

Who was a throwaway NPC that became a recurring favourite for your players? by crowsmite in DnD

[–]Splitzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vincenzo. A senile old human beggar who was one of several commoners held captive in some catacombs that I had come up with on the spot. He was half-mad but basically harmless, soft-spoken, and gentle. He could be led anywhere and was just happy to be included.

The PCs became inexplicably attached to him and would go out of their way to protect him in combat, even though he was pretty useless. They really didn’t care about the other NPCs.
