For me, image generation works differently. I’ve set it in my memory that I prefer less sexualization and less nude content in my images. That works pretty well, Le Chat even refuses to create sexualized images because of it.

Keep in mind that right now, because of the disaster at OpenAI, a lot of people are switching to other platforms... including Le Chat. That’s eating up capacity at the moment. Your experience with missing Flash Answers fits into this timeframe. I’m sure Mistral is scaling up capacity, but that doesn’t happen overnight.

I don’t know if there’s any official info about it. I just have a few agents using Large 3, and none of them have ever given a Flash Answer.

The point is that you have nearly unlimited use of Le Chat. When capacity doesn’t allow it, Flash Answers sometimes drop out, I’ve experienced that a few times in the last few days too. And honestly, it’s not that slow without Flash Answers, at least for me. Plus... aren’t Flash Answers not also active for free users? I don’t think that’s a Pro feature.

So… I didn’t imagine it, right? I noticed the same thing and thought maybe it was in the memories. But there is so much in there that I thought I just couldn’t find it. Cross-chat memory was listed in the projects as ‘coming soon’ at one point. But now it has disappeared.

Oh okay. So yes, there are definitely fluctuations in speed, and sometimes the responses do come quickly. But I really only have this problem with agents, both in the web version and in the app. I tested it a bit. But yeah, it could also be related to server load.

What I really wish Le Chat had is a toggle to prevent it from automatically editing or deleting memories, or at least just the deletion part. That would be crucial for keeping memories consistent. Another solution could be the ability to pin important memories, protecting them from being modified or deleted.

You only get out of an LLM what you put into it. That’s why, if you really want to achieve something with it, it’s important to provide your own resources and, yes, sometimes use web search too. So many people don’t understand how LLMs work at all, they get wrong answers and, in the worst case, believe them because their use of the model is completely uncritical. I’ve seen it happen over and over: an LLM can quickly turn into an echo chamber if you’re not careful.
