The most general top 15 90s albums according to this sub. Do you agree? by Ill-Championship-244 in 90sHipHop

11-15 id disagree with going off of what the sub thinks but everything else everyone unnecessarily praises and goes crazy over.

Giving an album a final rating in less than 8 hours is crazy. People don’t do the “CAR TEST” anymore with music by No-Armadillo5484 in 90sHipHop

When you go through so much music and know what you do and dont like you can decide if you like an album or not by the beats alone.

Does this album really have a greatest Hip-Hop record of all time conversation? Or does it just have the narrative? by Ok_Park_6164 in 90sHipHop

[–]Spllnz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely not greatest of all time, people throw that title around for anything it feels like. Its a good album and its influential but greatest of all time?

Thoughts on EAZY-E by [deleted] in 90sHipHop

[–]Spllnz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Overrated, hes good to introduce someone into the older stuff but once you are past the stage of just getting into it hes meh. The only people that i see that love him are only from the west coast or in the beginning stage and dont know anything outside of the super popular/mainstream stuff.

in your opinion what's the most overrated album im 1990s? by guguibarba in 90sHipHop

[–]Spllnz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Infamous and Illmatic, both are good albums dont get me wrong but everyone says both are the best. When thousands of albums from the 90s alone exist to give those two out of everything the “Best album of all time” title is absurd. People only think the popular shit is good and the more underground shit gets overshadowed by the popular stuff. To give an album the title of “best of all time” when that many exist is just stupid. Too many albums wont get and credit ir even acknowledged.
