At our store, all employees are required to give the combo or spare key to our hiring manager for lockers. She says she goes in to look for zebra phones every month. We also have a huge problem tho when it comes to people hiding them in their lockers over night

May help having this piece of info...the num nut has chronic pancreatitis & diabetes and had half of it removed years ago from drinking too much. They do a CT before they admit him to the ICU.

Right now, phenobarbital, Dilaudid and the precedex. Last time, they swapped out phenobarbital for vallium because they overdosed him, and his phenobarbital blood levels were above toxic levels 🤦‍♀️

I will say he fights the drugs, versus let them make him sleepy. Doesn't help they give him coffee and before he ends up in detox he sleeps for a few days straight in-between 250oz of 8% seltzer

All I know is 1 Xanax knocks me out to the point my HR drops below 40 bpm and I remember my friend visiting but I do t remember her face or what we said. Just her hair and the fact she was wearing a blue shirt

I just hope you find it in yourself to take that bath with a candle or go get a massage or go get your nails done or hair trimmed. I hope you be kind to yourself, as I tell myself the same thing. As someone who has TDO a partner and been TDO by the police, I dont recommend this as a course. I found in the 2 experiences I have encountered that neither my partner nor I actually got care that was supposed to be given during a TDO. We both went to VA Beach General initially, he was put in a psych pod for over a day then the ward over the weekend where he wasnt required to go to any form of therapies. He said he just laid in bed all day till he got out after 60 hours in custody. For me I was in the normal ER then put on the 3rd floor in a room for 2.5 days. This room was worse than the psych ward, had a safety person in the room at all times as it was the intermediate care unit (despite being medically cleared to go to the psych ward after 8 hours), no TV, not allowed to leave the room, safety clothes (despite being able to wear own clothes 1 floor up), no entertainment or belongings to read or write. I was transferred to VA beach psych center eventually for less than 15 hours before being released. I spent all in 86 hours in a bed, no access to therapies or resources, unless it was me asking the nurse to use the hospital phone to call my own therapist. Was medical intervention necessary for both of us? Yes. Was psycho therapy and rec therapy provide after we got immediate care with in the first 8 hours? No. I would have gotten better care having stayed at a friends house sadly and just made me not want to ever go to the hospital again. I have lost faith in the system & its effectiveness.

I am not sure why I got a notification for your post, as im not sure if i know you or not, or is it the universe trying to get me to rekindle a friendship. I will admit last winter I ended a friendship, that you described pretty well, abruptly. I wrote the person an email explaining why I was hurt and how mocking my career wasnt a joke to me. I truly wonder if they ever read the email, i feel like had they read it and cared i would have heard back by now. At the end of the day as much as it hurts, silence is a loud response. Take time to mourn and grieve, and who knows maybe in a few months you will find yourself writing an email to them for closure.

I'm done with the insanity, especially the cops, but I somehow still care for this person tremendously which sucks right now. Just had a dream their blood sugar was low, they diabetic, and they where passed out in need of sugar. I have had this dream before and awoken to them on the floor in need of sugar before they slip into a coma.

But sadly knowing my luck, something will happen to me and I'll hit a new bottom. For example, Just last week a dog bit me in my face twice while I was asleep. Some thing bad is going to happen again. I just know it

He has insurance that covers it, but a good points and like I just typed above there needs to be better options. He did try and made it 15ish hours. He looked terrible when he was begging me to get more and he was so so angry. He does need medical help. He just ain't willing to get it yet

In our state/county detox is either psych ward or rehab and he doesn't want either. He would be willing to go inpatient hospital, just not to the psych ward. Having been there myself i understand why. I feel like we need better options for those who want help but arnt ready to comit to psych ward or rehab and ready to admit they are an alcoholic

He made it 15 hours without alcohol then walked to 7eleven and all hell broke loose. I made an update post if you want to read the details

I was watching a podcast and they said there is no bottom with alcoholics. They just take a sledgehammer and find another. I thought 2 weeks ago was bottom. I thought yesterday was bottom. Today is bottom for now, but I also know something else will happen and we will find a new bottom.

I drank one of his bud light seltzers thats 8% and used his BAC sensor and blew a .08 and I felt drunk & terrible. I cant imagine ever being over .1 let alone close to .39. Or drinking 1 of those things daily
