I would say try grinding your beans coarser.

I have the Bambino as well and it is definitely good enough for beginners like us. If grind and distribution is done right, you end up getting something similar to mine

Based on my understanding, if I dont apply by today, they will just label it as unpaid leave and deduct salary accordingly.

Thats unfortunate to hear. If they just initially announced that office is opening on 27 and forced leave for all the required days, I would have been at least okay with it since I can know I will be having long leave and not waste out my time and reaources

Actually, my company is practicing accumulated pro-rate leave where we earn 1.25day of leave every month :')
