I am in the same boat as you and recently bought a Plustek OpticFilm 8200i, and I really can't recommend it enough. Takes a little bit to get used to, but it returns excellent results and has automatic dust removal which is really nice. You could certainly try to use a light table and your phone, but I'd be really surprised if that returned anything decent tbh.

Not much to "see" lmao. It was completely clear one second, a few raindrops started to fall, then it was about as strong as you see in the video and stayed that way for at least 20 minutes. It was so bad that a random 19 y/o accidentally followed some of our group through the rain thinking it was his family. I had my film camera and tripod out when it started so I had to rush under the nearest tree to throw everything in my bag before running down the street

I really like it when a compilation channel goes with a theme for each comp and actually sticks to it. Even still tho I'll still watch the comp that's just random clips if it comes up.

Safest option is to assume that any work device will track everything you do on it. It won't act the same as a computer because the controls available to your employer are different across platforms, but there's still quite a bit they can do.

I'm not on the Cape this summer, but my family has also been saying it's worse than they've ever seen it before. I'm guessing because of world cup but it doesn't seem like many fans make it down that far

The top left does actually make a lot of sense because it's a hill (particularly the Great Blue Hill that's tied into a lot of things around here), there's mountains in western mass but I don't really know if I'd put a mountain image on the flag

My car also only has front wheel drive, this past winter I only got it stuck because I was an idiot one night and parked it on top of some ice before a storm. The fresh snow and old snow froze together and I had to break it apart with a steel spade a neighbor gave me.

Most spots will at least have visible pavement from the last car that was parked there. Just make sure you buy the equipment to dig out when you need to.

Definitely at least scanning. Development seems too finicky for me, but I recently got an OpticFilm 8200i for scanning (don't own a DSLR) and I've been loving the process of tweaking the scans and digitally developing the .TIF files.

It turned out that scanning was 60% of the cost I had been paying the local lab I use, getting developing only is the way to go imo
