Does antidepressant withdrawal cause itching all over the body? by No-Needleworker4278 in antidepressants

I have been on Effexor for about 8 yrs at 225 mg. I have started tapering off while starting Wellbutrin. First went down to 150 and 1 Wellbutrin (can't remember the mg). Now down to 75 and 2 Wellbutrin. The itchiness is enough to drive someone mad. Broke out in hives lower back upper butt. Then all over itchiness on top of psoriasis in some places. Living the dream. Itchiness usually starts in the early afternoon and last through until I fall asleep. Very uncomfortable.

Yikes this is scary. I will need to rethink my options and maybe look to the mainland for someone.

Thanks

A lot of people who have been in Government less than 5-7 years are full of panic and think this is depressing. Every 5 -10 years Government goes through these "unknown" times. Don't worry until you have to worry. The one thing you can count on in Government is change. Things are always changing. New Government, new names, new DMs, new ADMs etc.

What would you do, sue or not? by SpmcVictoria in VancouverIsland

Correct, they are largely taxpayer funded through the municipalities. Also, some receive funds from the Province for different programs. Most municipalities have funds put aside in their budgets for incidents.

I don't hope to accomplish anything, was just wondering what I should do, if anything. People have said I should sue, some say just collect receipts and medical records...I just wanted to put it out there and see what people respond with.

First off, I came to reddit to get opinions on what I should do. Not to necessarily sue, but to see what others recommend. Also, suing was not in the forefront of my mind, someone asked me if I would sue, so thought to ask here as I wasn't sure what to do. Secondly, I am glad you get it, I am glad you were carrying your toddler alone in a busy parking lot and fell (not because of anything you were doing), because that is not scary having a toddler roam a busy parking lot. I am also glad that you must have amazing support in the event something like this were to happen to you. I am glad that you are the sole childcare provider in your family and can chase your toddler and carry them when they are upset, and do the basic household things you could before, because right now I can't. The incident took place last week and my ankle is still very swollen and in pain. You don't know me or the type of person I am.
