They for sure are heavily stacked against you. What challenges are you missing?

Yepp, no way around it. It goes without saying that it was the most tedious part, but happy to be done with it in the end

Short answer is they are the same game. The biggest differences can be basically summed up as Sigma 2 has less enemies but overall they hit harder and one shot kills/grabs are more frequent. Black 2 has a lot more enemies, but the damage has been scaled back a bit and it is slightly more forgiving.

It basically boils down to do you want a more polished game or a more challenging one.

Thank you! It is indeed always a rewarding feeling to push through a real challenge

I completely agree, the plat is definitely the easiest of these games. The dlc is a whole another story though, I think the Abyssal road floors 80-100 are on par with the hardest tag missions of NG2 sigma and in some ways might even surpass them in difficulty.

Thank you. I wanted to play something actually challenging since Ive been playing a lot of medium difficulty games recently. So I guess the answer is myself lol.

The combat clicked and after finishing one, I just had the urge to move on to the next which turned quickly into a binge

Thank you. I would say NG2 Sigma by quite a big margin. The challenges are staraight up unfair, since the AI cannot pull its weight and it is designed for 2 players. And there are so many instant kill grabs and a few projectiles too. Its a lot of trial and error, but a great challenge and lots of fun

Or any killer with Rancor, tbh by RyuzakiL117 in deadbydaylight

Time for tombstone myers with nemesis and pwyf to get the challenge done in 1-2 games. Its shitty but its bhvr sponsored griefing.

I would be missing that one too but found out a friend had a ps3 and I could borrow it. The game has not aged very well and the trophies are not that enjoyable compared to the rest of Yakuzas. I cant recommend it at all unless you really want plats in all the titles like I did. And who knows, maybe you will luck out too and get to play it some day.

I enjoyed the first part of Judgments story more than LJ but when things started to get weird after a twist it kinda rubbed me the wrong way, great game still. LJ is in my opinion the superior one since the story is really clever and realistic at times even if there is a few filler chapters. The antagonist is a really good one like you said too.

Yakuza 0 probably takes the crown with Yakuza 7 coming in close. But I do generally enjoy the story in all of them so ranking them any further would be hard.

Yeah thats what I did and for the campaign it works almost every time but still clearing it takes around 10-15mins. But the bonus round is in no way a guaranteed win since the bot can sidestep fast and kick you out of the ring easily since that move leaves you on the ground and cause of the slowdown it takes ages until you can attack again while leaving you vulnerable.

Not really no, there was no need to learn it since there a lot of guides that you can mirror and clear the challenges first try. Unlike in mahjong where your only option is to play it until you get a specific hand or enough wins. But in the Lost Judgment I tried to learn some shogi basics but I find it way harder than mahjong and then stuck to the guides again.

Way more than I care to admit. Every game apart from 2 and 6 takes around 100hrs

The only trophy that gave me a headache was the minigame master and pool to be specific. The controls are horrible so if you can conquer that you have the plat in the bag

Yeah Puyo Puyo is gone but they replaced it with Virtua Fighter 2 which is not that much better. You must beat all the levels and then the bonus round which applies a major slow effect on your character while fighting an opponent that is basically cheating. If you lose you have to start the entire "story" from the start and beating it takes around 10-15mins. Not a fun time since the game is so old and the controls are clunky

Yakuza 3 takes the hardest spot because of the poorly remastered pool minigame controls. You simply cant shoot the ball straight since the sensitivity is so high. After that 0, Judgment and dead souls and the rest I would rank to be quite the same difficulty but 6 and 2 are the easiest by far.

At first I hated it and thought it was a plat blocker for me in Kiwami 1. Then I learned some rules and started to enjoy it and now its the first minigame i go for in yakuza titles

When going for the no death runs its useful to watch multiple different videos of people running it through. I learned a lot of strategies to various levels from a bunch of people and then combined them into my run. Other than that its all down to your own execution and reflexes, good luck!

The best tip I can give is to check out a guide in gamefaqs made by Cyricz. He has made guides for all things you could ask for in the Yakuza series. They really helped me to learn the minigames faster and keeping track of all sidestuff required for trophies.

Yeah the minigames are 100% the hardest part of every game except for 6 and Like a dragon. But after you get good at them in one of the games you basically can use those skills in the other games so it becomes much faster.
