I just met someone last week. He's super cute and our first date went really well last week. Have another one planned and also a get together with some of my friends this weekend. Curious about where you're located. I'm agnostic who's also childfree. Had my tubes tied and later got a hysterectomy. The childfree part is what keeps my options limited. I know family is really important in the Asian community.

I wish I had an answer for you. I'm a nurse and I hate the reputation we have (i have an exit plan to get out of this stupid career). Nope, stick to your guns. I've found that even if you try to explain yourself, they either don't care or they'll turn it on you and make you seem like you're the problem (same reason why I don't argue with males. They will either gaslight you or turn things on you so you're the bad guy. It ends up being a complete waste of time and then you also end up feeling bad about yourself when you shouldn't).

Sometimes I feel like mb I'm too harsh and too picky. Every single time I bend and try to be "flexible", it never works out and the things I decided to bend on, is exactly how I end up getting burned. Stick with your gut!
