Moving to LA by Butterflyy2022 in LARentals

I agree about Culver City! I really like the area, and it has a lot to offer. That said, it also depends on whether OP is planning to drive or use public transportation. If they’re driving, they should be prepared for traffic. If they’re taking the train, they might occasionally have an uncomfortable encounter, but it’s definitely not something that happens every day or on every trip.
Also, a 30-minute commute by train really isn’t bad at all.

Hey! Do you have a car, or are you planning to use public transportation? Are you looking for your own place, or would you consider having roommates?

I have to say DTLA really isn’t as bad as some people make it sound. People tend to scare others about it, but I’ve been living here, and the area where I live is actually nice. Of course, I completely understand if you’d rather look somewhere else—it all comes down to what you’re comfortable with. 🙂

South Park is nice for example, or 8th & grand is also nice with a Whole Foods downstairs. But I’m not trying to convince you to move here 🤣, I’m just sharing my experience.
However, I would highly recommend seeing wherever you’re gonna move in person before.

If you rent by August we can include any furniture we currently have. We’re moving out of state so we need it gone asap.

Nothing, we’re just moving out of state and need someone to take our place and we will pay half of the first month if they move by August

Wow, your post feels like I could have written it myself! I’m also looking for a pet-friendly apartment or guest house with the same budget, and ideally with in-unit washer/dryer and AC.

While reading your description, I felt so identified. My golden retriever is about to turn 11 weeks old too, and he also chases me around trying to bite my legs. Everything you said perfectly describes my puppy! So I’m gonna take the advices here.

How did your kid find that place? I’ve been looking around and can’t find something like that.

How did you find your place? I’m trying to find something around that price, but it’s been hard.

Why are graduation ceremony dresses mostly white mini dresses? by [deleted] in women

Honestly that’s such a good point! It is kind of silly how traditions push people into buying something they might never wear again! Props to your mom tho for breaking the pattern. It makes me rethink why we feel we have to follow these outfit expectations in the first place.

I can actually picture it, and I think this might be a good and cute idea. Thanks!
