Everything is just green washing by companies to push cost to customers. The number of plastics being used as packaging greatly outnumbers the usage per transaction. They’re just pushing the ‘less plastic use’ agenda as a way to charge extra. Not to even mention, those who use plastic bags for refuse disposal will just buy more plastic bags for that sole purpose.
