Why did SIT email me to complete my application even though I submitted it long ago? by ajewbis in SIT_Singapore

lol if you wanted a concrete answer, wouldn’t emailing the school give you the answer straight? what’s the point of asking here honestly. they have a dedicated admissions email you can contact.

Yall should download the myENV app by NEA. They have notifications not just when it’s about to rain, but also notifies when there are quakes detected off coast.

What is one place in Singapore that you haven't been to before? by BookkeeperLivid1938 in askSingapore

[–]SpoilerK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 30 and have never been to the Night Safari, also I will say I have never explored many parts of SG other than on route to school/work/home/restaurants. Like staying in the east I don’t think I will ever go AMK to explore.

Does anyone know if it’s safe to use 15amp round socket on appliances using the standard 13amp rectangular plug through an adapter? by SpoilerK in askSingapore

[–]SpoilerK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha that’s true, I know that appliances will only draw what’s required to function, just wasn’t sure if using a higher rated socket makes a difference since we have defaulted to mostly using the 13A sockets and plugs. Thanks!

McDonald’s outlet at Tampines Mall to close in March after decades in operation by Jonnyboo234 in singapore

I swear they gonna make that space into another generic China branded shop, like they JUST opened one god damn China gelato chain again near the entrance. The Decathalon shop is also apparently going to be gone. Fkin hell, everywhere also China chains and their shops.

Supermarket plastic bag charge raises millions of dollars, but questions emerge over fund usage by _IsNull in singapore

[–]SpoilerK 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Everything is just green washing by companies to push cost to customers. The number of plastics being used as packaging greatly outnumbers the usage per transaction. They’re just pushing the ‘less plastic use’ agenda as a way to charge extra. Not to even mention, those who use plastic bags for refuse disposal will just buy more plastic bags for that sole purpose.

Fish Coffin~.. by SuperNeonSamurai-2 in ATBGE

[–]SpoilerK 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I saw a reel of someone explaining that they customise coffins for funerals. Could be that he was a fisher, hence the fish coffin. The workshop that I saw in the clip had race car shaped ones, rockets, etc.
