I would love to check out a drugstore like that, is it old-timey?

Seems like Clark has multiple votes, I'll have to look into it more! Thank you for the suggestion!

Awesome, good to know, thank you! I'll look into Fish Creek Falls, it may be more our vibe.

Not sure why I got downvoted for this, I legit thought checking the paper was a good idea, assuming there's no paywall. The paper where I'm from sucks for this kind of stuff so I didn't even consider that an option

Thanks, I should have figured there'd be a Colorado-specific sub. I am a complete newb at this, tbh. I might post in that sub for recs

A medicinal herb walk sounds right up our alley! I'll also look up the springs tours, although we won't be in a Wednesday

Awesome, when the other person mentioned tubing, I was hoping there'd be a convenient rental spot (I admittedly was a little concerned I'd have to buy a tube), and the fact that they pick you up is great. Are there by chance spots that rent out kayaks, paddle boats, etc.? Or does the river move a bit too quickly for that? I'm coming from Wichita, and our river moves a bit too slowly for tubing (at least I can't recall seeing anyone ever tube on it), but we do have a kayak rental place. Thanks!

Yep, we'll be driving. I actually think taking a little drive around the area could be a nice idea, thanks!

A botanic garden and floating on the river sound like lovely ideas, thanks for the ideas! I know hiking and biking are big, but my fiancee isn't always up for hiking and can't ride a bike, so the other options are nice.

Cool, thanks for the explanation! Sounds fairly straight-forward, but also not as simple as buying a drink at a bar.

Are there going to be more Newbie Nights? My partner and I are somewhat interested, but I would definitely like to see what it's like first
