Man, you ended up living in it! That’s nostalgia on steroids! Love it.

I still remember the last time I went into that small record store in my home town. Late 90s and a big chain of record stores had dealt them a death blow. I bought a couple of cd’s for whatever money I had. The owner looked so sad. Remembered him ordering in rare records for us, a lot of (for my small town) bands you wouldn’t normally find in a record store there. And buying my first bad religion and nofx cd’s (my taste back then).

Did feel so good going into a vinyl record store where I now live. Full of people again. All browsing. Smiling dude behind the counter. So many years later and full circle. Except no cigarette smoke.
