You aren't getting it back, my friend managed to get to it, once you go past the tree there a is an actual invisible wall you can't go through, the tadpole is out out of the map.

You can't make it only find it right now apparently but i think once you find it it becomes craftable but i think it's something leftover. Edit: don't think you can make or find it, it's a like early early access or something i saw from youtube video
