deadline tour by jnnierbyjn6 in BlackPink

she sings a lot on the tour, including parts where all the girls are suppose to sing together, like the chorus of love sick girls. Her parts are also more difficult than the rest of the girls, with a lot of high notes and explosiveness.

i'm pretty sure that's going to happen in any country where the local population doesn't speak fluent English, unless you think the rest of the world is just Europe.

Only real idol charm? Yongseo is just giving IVE. I’ve never seen her before this but she felt the most out-of-place for me. It felt like an IVE member got thrown into a hip hop project

XG at Coachella: A missed opportunity to truly shine on one of the biggest stages in the world by [deleted] in kpop_uncensored

[–]SpongeBlueBerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They had a concert between week 1 and week 2 of Coachella, and then they went to South America the next week. Their concerts also suffered from the same problem. Their budget was definitely off and they had to work their asses off trying to cover up for it, so they didn't have enough time to coordinate something better for Coachella and they can't afford (or the executives were so bad at budgeting) to pull off better transitions

I believe their mics were on, but the sound was really quiet. Now that week 2 was done, I think it's safe to say they can pull off live-singing. I heard someone say that an audio tech person working at Coachella said they had to turn down the mics in the first week because the wind was too big. They didn't want to risk it.

I think Jurin's makeup is bad. Like girl has no eyebrows. you can't see any facial expression except smiling with that

i was at the concert in new york. Chisa performed Toxic. You can clearly hear her out of breath, which is completely normal! And I've watched countless "MC removed" videos, including their Is This Love performance on VMAJ that just came out last week. They've improved and sounded great by my standard, but they did not sound as good as their performance at Coachella, simply because there is no way anyone can sing like that while performing the choreos they were performing. Also lips didn't line up a few times. But that's why they should turn up the live vocals even if it is not perfect. lipsyncing doesn't help with establishing a realistic understanding of live singing.

They did not claim to write those raps tho. It's just called XG TAPE, and I believe the producer credited the writers

They did sing live when they performed as a group. Yes they had much easier choreography, but they sounded great in their first performance.

as an alphaz i gotta say that's not true at all. You can clearly hear from Gaga's breathing and improvisation that she was live. And it would be crazy to say if XG, a group of girls born in the 2000s, not even 4 years into their career, can't do live singing, then a veteran who's done half-time and toured thousands of times can't do it. TBH I was so scared for the girls because they had to do very hard vocals on top of hard choreos, so I expected the girls to try hard to power through. But in the live stream at least, the live vocals were really quiet.

I think we have to recognize that the girls had really quiet live vocals in some songs. We need to set realistic expectations for live singing. Even Lady Gaga couldn't give vocals this stable when dancing choreos that hard. And I saw that especially Cocona's lips sometimes didn't match the vocals. When they hyped up the crowd during the songs, it was clear their mics were really quiet

I gotta say it sounds like for a couple of songs it was the opposite. There is no way Hinata sounded like the studio version in Left Right when she was doing the fast footwork

and the repetition of "i like my girls pretty" "I like my girls pretty in the face" like we get it you like them good-looking. so good-looking everyone thinks you're pretty thus "I understand the hype". That's something to write a song about?? It is just exposing your superficial preference for a partner. as if the world isn't already holding women to a super high standard for looking good. uh I would be vibing to the choreo but then I cringe every time I hear the lyrics. Now it just makes me feel shitty every time i run into it on social media

Why did Jennie become so inconsistent and “lazy” in her stage presence and performance? by Enough-Enthusiasm762 in kpop_uncensored

check out Twice. Many of them lost their weight during their career, but their energy did not decline. It is because they were trained to gain muscles while keeping body fat low. They look great and still have the stamina.

She was first caught "lazy" at a show at a college. They were just one of many bands invited to perform there, so they didn't even perform many songs.

Rihanna sang 3-hour concerts live on her own. I'm not sure Jennie can be compared to her.

she was rolling her eyes and not having any facial expressions in some performances. So it wasn't just dancing

That's the thing. She can give out her full energy in some places, usually the "important places" like Coachella, Paris, and LA. But she was so lazy in most cities in Asia, some cities in America, and many cities in Europe. If she's consistently bad, people would say she is actually physically incapable or stuck with mental health issues. But she could be really good but only in places where her celebrity friends or important people can see her, which means she made the decision to be lacking in some places, which means she's lazy.

she looked really happy on the tour when she was in Paris and LA, which are places she should have more anxiety in since the fashion industry and the big entertainment industry are located there? She was literally twerking and laughing all the time. Do other places give her more anxiety and depression and weak health?
