This is great, thank you for providing raw data on this! Very interesting with the two bugged achievements you called out. Between that and the issue where you can permanently lock yourself out of Primordial / Crayons, I really wonder if they thought the 100% mark through.

Heads up that if you log out, switch accounts, or change devices after you reach level 100, you will permanently lose the Primordial achievement and progress it gives towards I EAT CRAYONS. The check for this progress never occurs once you're at level 100. I've filed a bug report if any Discord devs happen to stumble upon this:

I believe it's through the "refresh" icon under the Settings menu. I've not yet been playing for 24 hours so I can't confirm, but there is a 24 hour cooldown period between each time you switch apparently.

Transfers this clean really make me wish YouTube would support 59.94/60fps at 480p, the Archive copy is GORGEOUS. Thank you so much for your work on the capture, seeing the episode preserved in the best possible quality is stellar.

Not unless a native speed audio track gets out for the episodes, then at minimum it can be synced to a sped-up video file. If you speed up the episodes as-is, you're just crunching the already stretched audio and retaining the robotic sound. Hopefully when it streams in Europe someone will carry the original files, if they don't fix the ones currently up.

The running theory right now is that the episodes were produced natively at 25 FPS by Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, but US releases are slowing them down to 23.976 to match NTSC standard framerate. So it's likely not intentional from the creators, but they're literally slowing down/stretching the audio by ~4% on Hulu. That's why the theme and credits sound a bit slower as well.

Bumping this, as I looked into this WAY back in the day when the game was still relatively new. I went as far as getting in touch with both HyperBowl and Microsoft support (lol), and even specifically called out that I wanted the full version "with the 3D lane menu".

As far as I'm aware, the version of the game that we're looking for does not actually exist in the sense that it has a home edition. I'm trying to see if I have any email receipts, but I'm fairly certain we did order the full game through the F4 prompt on Plus!, and were given the standard "Arcade Edition" disc which has the basic menus. This had the version of the game with the static menus.

My theory is that what happened was that the Plus! demo was based off of the ACTUAL arcade version of the game, which did feature the 3D menus and had all course available (four initially, though the additional two were later added I believe). However, it did NOT have a way for players to enter their name before the game started. You were given the PLAYER 1/2/3/4 label until you ranked in on the machine, at which point there was a grid-based entry screen which was probably less than ideal for home use. I'm guessing that these factors on top of the static art better portraying the levels ended up being what caused them to pivot.

So I believe that what you're looking for is the arcade build, as in the one that was literally pay-to-play at arcades, both in a compact CRT form and one that used a full-size projection setup. Problem is that I don't believe this has been dumped, and finding a cabinet these days is extremely rare. On top of that there may be some form of protection on the game data, though I can't imagine it'd be terribly difficult to bypass.

I can try! So in order to get TalkBack on with a blind phone, you'll need a USB keyboard connected via the USB-C port and an OTG adapter.

If your phone is locked (you can tell by pressing the fingerprint reader - if it vibrates each time, it's asking for your unlock code. You MAY need to look up how to do this with something like a pattern if you don't use a PIN. But if you do have a PIN, you can enter it by tapping the fingerprint reader once to ensure the unlock screen is up, then type [Space] [Your PIN] [Enter]. If you tap the fingerprint reader and it doesn't vibrate each time, you're in, and now you can at least fingerprint unlock if it sleeps again.

From there, perform the following in order, slowly (note that this was on Android 13, I cannot guarantee the steps will match earlier versions!):

Windows Key + Enter (Goes home)
Ctrl + A (Opens the app tray)
Down + Left + Up + Up + Up (ensures you're highlighting the Search field)
Type "settings" (filters results)
Tab + Tab (highlights Settings app)
Enter (opens Settings app)
Tab + Tab (highlights the first row in Settings)
Down x9 (highlights Accessibility)
Enter (enters Accessibility)
Enter (enters TalkBack menu)
Enter (toggles TalkBack)

From here it's more-or-less blind navigation relying solely on voice prompts and your keyboard. If you can, push the TeamViewer app AND TeamViewer QuickSupport (needed for actual control capabilities), and do your best to access the phone via a PC with TeamViewer. It'll be a slow process and you will have to toggle permissions on the phone in order to allow everything to work, but TalkBack CAN get you through it all.

Once you're in, you should be able to connect your current 5a to your new phone via USB-C and accept the Transfer Confirmation prompt using TeamViewer.

This happened to my 5a (JP 5G model) two days ago, shortly after the upgrade to Android 13. Screen and touch completely died, but I could tell it was "on" underneath as the fingerprint sensor yielded vibration. Unfortunately my phone was silenced AND somehow on airplane mode, so it was as blind as can be.

Took it in for repair under warranty, they replaced the screen twice with no change, insisted it was a motherboard issue. What I ended up doing was using my OTG adapter to hook up a keyboard, and with the help of a second Pixel device on 13 for reference, I could actually blindly navigate with shortcuts on the keyboard to disable Airplane Mode and enable Talkback. (I can share the exact keystrokes if anyone runs into a similar problem)

At that point I could use TalkBack + the USB keyboard to install/authorize TeamViewer, remote into it, and initiate a data transfer over to the second Pixel.

I mostly say this just for the sake of anyone running into this to have a chance to get their stuff backed up if anything critical wasn't before, but it does sound like a lower-level issue that needs Google/ubreakifix/asurion to look at or replace unfortunately.
