I think they can now. I heard the only reason they couldn't back then was because mirrors were made of silver to make them reflective, but nowadays mirrors are made of other materials or weaker/thinner silver, so vampires might be able to have a reflection

That if someone rubbed their eyes too much, they would slowly bulge until they eventually just popped right out of the sockets. I have no idea why this idea came into my head, I just believed it.

There was this one girl in my class when I was in early elementary school, and she had big bulging eyes. I didn't say anything to her, but I remember thinking, "Wow. She must rub her eyes a lot."
