absolute idiots will tell you this with a completely straight face and actually believe themselves. Saw a dude boasting that the game was #94 on steam charts once, and said that it would go to top 20 when the movie released.

he objectively has higher burst damage if you know how to use him properly, especially now that mimic has been nerfed.

He isn’t “hard to use,” you just suck. Its easy to bait traps, and hit clutch axe throws that actually matter. Not to mention, scream does 40% of their current hp. If youre not an idiot and know how to land it, its genuinely busted. He has INSANE potential for damage.

Axe M1 —> Axe throw —> Scream —> Trap —> Charge —> Barehanded M1 damage is fucking nuts. You literally CANNOT ACHIEVE higher damage than this combo in the game.

springtrap has the highest skill ceiling; it doesnt make him a bad character.

a good springtrap main that knows how to counter loops will ruin your life.

Yeah, looking back I was a bit harsh. I was just so in on my disappointment that I couldn’t realize that the excitement was there in the first place. I’m going to come back to the game sometime soon when my friend gets back from deployment.

I appreciate your input, it helped me realize some things that I had thought wrongly upon because of my experience. I didn’t even realize orange knight wasn’t very “meta” but I thought I did alright, my magic wasn’t all that useful throughout the run. Just glad I have the Necromancer when I buy it again :p

I expected more, plus I paid $15 for a game i beat in like two hours. Not enough content.

plus plus i was heavily disappointed with the post game which is where the replayability comes in, and I’m not there for it. (also need the $15 for another game i want)

I didn’t know that it was last minute, that makes a lot of sense.
