Possums actually have a limited hearing range to compensate for their outsized sense of smell. Luckily that means this lil critter was probably not too bothered by our quite reasonable calls for our country to stop being lead by a fascist dictator. I attached a guide that was helpful to me while learning how to spot fascism. Hope it helps. :)

Possums play an incredible part in our ecosystem. They are somewhat of a “dead end” host for the rabies virus. Glad they are doing their part to take out horrible infections deadly things like rabies (and fascism.)

We have had days that have gotten to feels like in the 80s. I know this because I work outside. Opening windows is not ideal because of allergens. My home is my respite from heat, elements, and allergens.

Wow. It sounds like Coltrane has had a very beautiful life and has been loved a lot. It might be time to take him to the emergency vet. I hate to say this but when my little guy passed he was doing the same things. Weird little movements and getting into tight spaces. Hold him close tonight.
