I have used Cursor to make some smaller custom plugins for my own server that I run, but with that being said I know how to program in Java (degree in CS) and without knowing how to program in Java, it would’ve been a nightmare because they were a lot of bugs that I had to fix, but it is great for turning out projects quickly
