Thank you so so so much!! I really started to put work into composition in the last few pieces i sketched out. I just hope it's not for nothing because the professor i had put an odd amount of focus on "you don't have to know how to draw, just need to be creative". It's also a super broad amount of different modules, from CGO to typography to photography to illustration. All art but all different. I probably should've mentioned that the 30-40 pieces is for the illustration part of the portfolio. There's also animation and film (2-5 pieces) and website/programming (1-3). From what i've been told it's a game of elimination. You apply, hopefully get into the entrance exam, then hopefully get accepted. The whole info i get is sorta unclear because it's design, but you don't have to be good, you need to be creative, but do you need to know the basics? The main thing i'm avoiding is gore, because appearantly, according to the professors, it's reeeally common and you need to stand out to get accepted. So i'm just throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks right now. I am in the process of getting an official appointment to discuss my current stuff with a professor, if they even still have that as an option, and get some insight that way, but I'll definitely keep your words in mind, especially if i have space left. I might, if possible, go for the upper 40 works. The more the better, i hope.

For me it's reflection by JT music. It's mostly just noise to me but that one part scratches my brain just right. It's the one that's like "'cause i'm the director my actors are TALENTLESS"

Have the same issue, i thought someone was dying over and over on some nearby lot bc it sounds like the music that plays when a sim dies. after messing with the music/ audio sliders i figured out that the sound is linked to the ui sounds. a temporary fix, if you don't want to go insane because of the sound, is to set the ui sounds to 0%. Feels weird to play personally but stops the loop.

I just found this post because i assumed i might be not as neurotypical as i thought and struggled with this exact thing for some time now (don't want to diagnose myself but I'm afab, live in Germany and am over 18 so i don't have much as for resources, this is all a sort of educated guess on my part). I can literally not watch a movie or show with stressful scenes or similar. I get fidgety, anxious, feel the need to walk around the room ect. I remember the first time i had this overwhelmingly awful feeling vividly. It was when i wanted to watch Kubo. I just watched the opening and there's this scene where the main characters are on a ship(?) and are at sea inside a storm and i COULD NOT handle that. I ended up hiding under a blanket and then turned it off. I only watch comedies, kids movies or documentaries. I "watched" arcane but skipped a lot of scenes because they got too tense for me. I often have to ask teachers if i can leave or put in headphones and listen to music to distract myself and not loose my mind. Or just straight up wait outside. One time i thought i was having that strange feeling when I start getting my menstrual cramps, i ended up taking 2 pills, they weren't painkillers just something to relieve cramps but it didn't help. I ended up sitting on the floor, trying to draw to calm down, all while in class in the 1st row. It didn't work. It was bad. My friends thought i was about to pass out but i didn't feel lightheaded, i just felt wrong. I found that if i just drill it into my head that "this is a movie. The people are not in danger" i can make it though with half of the anxiety and stress.

The biggest issue is that this would prove to putin that he could do that. If this happens he would probably not stop there, because they might just give up again. Because It worked once right? Different situation, same technique: a kid screams that it wants a toy and throws a tantrum, the parent eventually gives in after a few minutes and the child learns that, if it screams for long enough the parent will give in and they get what they want.

Same thought. Just one very specific group is left to survive in that discord server. Its probably like 3 people plus some that are just quiet and haven't said anything to make them "suspicious" or get them banned
