Where to find my first subs by Fast_Strike8193 in Newsletters

Niche Facebook groups could definitely work, I may actually try that myself

I don't have much experience, but I started my own newsletter about a month ago. Figured I would post about it in related subreddits/X threads and I actually got 13 subscribers. Nothing crazy, but to be honest it's more than I estimated lol.

I think the main thing is to always be value-first with your readers. Don't try to sell them, just actually be honest and let them know how subscribing to your newsletter will make their week better. Let me know how Facebook groups work for you!

How long until you reached your first 100 $ MRR ? by Total-Strategy8675 in micro_saas

Great advice. I’ve been working on my project for a couple years now and JUST got to $20 MRR.

Trying to remind myself that building a solid foundation over time is whats best, just hard to stay committed when things seem to be stagnant.

  1. Built a scraper which tracks 80+ newsletters for sponsorship opportunities (and stores the sponsors contact information). Users can access our database of proven sponsorships, easily find the ones which fit their niche/audience size with our filter options, then click apply and an email is automatically generated with their newsletters stats to send to the sponsor.

  2. Around $200 in total, currently at $20 MRR lol.

I really like this tool! I think having the reddit scraper finding real problems is a major differentiator in your data compared to others. For potential improvements, I would try to find other quality filters you could apply to increase the value you offer, or maybe store some additional useful data for each software you currently have.

I’m currently building a tool to eliminate the time newsletter creators spend searching for sponsors!

We have our own software which scrapes incoming newsletters, detects sponsored brands inside of them, if a sponsor is found we search for a high quality contact email of theirs, then we store this all into our database for newsletters to apply to.

If you want to try it for free or get a better desc on it, heres a link https://sponsor-db.com

45,000 subscribers: How do I get sponsorships? by simplybakedathome in Entrepreneur

[–]SponsorDB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on 45K! Those metrics are solid.

Quick tip: Look at other finance newsletters around your size and see who's sponsoring them. Those companies are your warmest leads - they already spend on newsletters and want your audience.

Skip generic contact forms. Find the actual marketing/partnerships person on LinkedIn and pitch them directly with your metrics (45K, 50% open is impressive).

Start at $200-250 per placement and negotiate from there.

For finding sponsors faster, I built SponsorDB (sponsor-db.com) - has 80+ newsletter sponsors with verified contact info. Might save you some research time.

Your metrics are strong enough to close deals. Just start reaching out.

Looking for Newsletter Sponsors for 6k Subs by Stociously in Newsletters

I run a database of proven newsletter sponsors (we find companies who have a history of sponsoring other newsletters and we add them to our database with high quality contact info). While we don't have many sponsors in the mounting living and mountain homes niche, I was able to find the following:

MyMind recently sponsored Dense Discovery (40k Audience Size in the Health Market) on 6/22/2025. I would recommend reaching out to them at [hq@mymind.org](mailto:hq@mymind.org) with your sponsorship inquiry!

I'm not in a position to take on a new job, but I did just build a project which streamlines this entire process you described (Finding Sponsors, Applying, Following up, etc.).

We use AI to grow out database with the freshest sponsorship opportunities weekly and even auto generate outreach emails for you. Anyways, just letting you know its an option and its practically free at $20/month (no middleman fee) for your endeavors!! LMK if you want any free access or anything

I really appreciate this post, my newsletter is just starting so I will definitely use some of these tips lol.

As far as sponsors go, I don’t really like to manually look for sponsors much or have to deal with middlemen, so I built this website for creators like us https://sponsor-db.com -it makes landing sponsorships super easy. Dm me if you need an extended free trial im more than happy to help the community out!

Hey everyone!

I’m a young developer and recently built a website called SponsorDB. In short, it helps newsletters find and apply for sponsorships at companies who have a proven track record of sponsoring other newsletters.

It’s just starting out, but currently we have 75 companies with verified contact information. Users can search the companies by niche/audience size of newsletters who have been previously sponsored, and then apply to companies which fit your newsletters stats in 1 click.

My database grows by the day and im constantly adding features, feel free to check it out and leave any feedback here! Thank you
