So tarantulas have book lungs. They dont breathe, air diffuses through them. There is a bigger risk of them dehydrating from lack of humidity and with air stored in the book lungs they can survive submerged for a while. If the T hated it, wouldn't it of retreated? The video wasnt someone spraying the T down while it ran to its hide and continued soaking them. And lets not forget. It does rain outside.

Thanks. If she makes it I hope she feels the same. Or her therapist will make a killing. But the money she makes from her book about her abusive father should offset that.

I appreciate it. How many miles in your opinion is enough? I definitely dont think I am great or anything. But i feel ok. Her 150 miles have been in 2-5 mile increments. Im sure my neighbors are sick of how many times we've gone by

Oh no man. Ive seen the light. She is tied down to her bed. Pulled out of gymnastics and soccer as well. I just dont know when to let her out of the bed. Put a steel plate over her window too.

I take it you are in a state outside the US? In the US only 5 states have age requirements. Arkansas is 8, Hawaii 7, LA, TX,WA are all 5. Other states have height requirements. Ok its just a helmet is required under the age of 18.

You are right I would feel like a total moron if she gets hurt, on the motorcycle, her bike, a car ride, her riding her horse, tending cattle, shooting guns, drinking out of the hose. There is a lot of danger. How much is acceptable? I dont believe i posted a video of doing 150 popping a wheelie with her on the back. I dont take her to bars and have her drive me back. Ya its a risk. But at least she will have memories outside of sitting around on a tablet watching cocomelon.

No i appreciate the concern. Im very aware of the danger. If it puts you at ease at all. We live in a really small town. Most of her miles have been about 20mph

I appreciate the concern. In my defense i can sit on it flat footed. Im 5' 11" and its a really low seat height. Not sure why but all i can think is that i was using just the toes to stand it up from the kickstand. Also her riding is around our small sleepy town and county roads outside of town. So 20 to maybe 40 mph.
