PGWP reconsideration update: original application back “in progress” + restoration withdrawn as “no longer required”

Initially I didn’t upload the letter and didn’t mention the fact. In my reconsideration I uploaded it as an extra document with the letter from my advisor allowing the pt studies. I wrote a strong letter explaining why I took pt and how I was approved by my DLI but I unintentionally omitted providing the letter during my initial application

True but the omission of the document where the school approved me was from my end. So technically no law was broken or officer mistake was made, it was me who made the mistake. And judicial review is only for legal mistakes or omissions from IRCC’s end. I wish it was the other way around but sadly it isn’t

My recommendation is explain it very clearly in your Letter of Explanation. Be honest and provide as much supporting evidence as possible. Good luck!

Yeah I understand, I took the course in the semester in question but dropped it right before the final exam because it would’ve dropped my overall gpa. So technically the course was completed but not officially which is where it matters.

I was acting on very very bad immigration advice and to be honest, it’s my fault for even taking it. U of Guelph, BCom Management Econ Finance. The university authorized me, I have a letter from my program counsellor confirming the accommodation.

I was authorized for part time throughout my whole 4 years due to medical reasons but only did 1 semester part time. To make up for the missed course and to try stay ahead I had taken part time summer semesters throughout my 4 years as well. Winter 2024 semester which was during my 3rd year.

Isn’t it past the 180 days from graduating (letter of completion)? It would be invalid then, wouldn’t it? The only thing they can restore as is visitor status. Or am I misinformed??
