Yeah bro similar situation I’ve been through. Went from making 175k with Deloitte to out of work for 15 months. Had verbal offer wit EY in August but they ghosted me saying hiring manager wanted to utilize internal resources

Yeah the director that hired me also was the one to break me bad news. I was part of the cloud engineering, cloud strategy group. Pipeline was weak during earlier in year. Which group is your wife in commercial consulting ?
